Darney's Daycare & Learning Center, Inc.
We provide child care in a commercial licensed facility right in the heart of Caldwell since October 2017. We also have a Group Child Care in Caldwell.
We take child care seriously. We strive to offer highest quality child care for infants through school aged children. We also aim to find child care solutions that are best suited for your family. Maybe you are looking for part-time, full-time, occasional, half-day preschool or even looking for a nanny? Whatever your child care needs are, we are here to find the right child care solution for you.

At our daycare center we offer a variety of programs designed to enrich your child's learning experience, and teach him or her skill sets that last a lifetime.
Health Balances Meals Through the USDA Food Program
This program allows us to provide healthy balanced meals without charging parents more tuition for food. You can rest assured that your child will be fed healthy and nutritious meals and snacks, which are regularly audited by the USDA Food Program sponsor Nutrition Works. Additionally, children are exposed to farm fresh eggs, meats, and produce which they will help nurture and grow in our Homestead Program.
Seed Starting and Gardening Program
As we merge child care with self-reliance skills, your children will gain life long survival skills where growing and harvesting food is concerned. COVID-19 has taught us that in an instant things can change from good to bad, or bad to worse. We have taken this lesson to heart and have begun teaching children how to grow their own food, make products from the things they grow, and make a living doing just that.
Homestead Program
We have been blessed with the opportunity to raise livestock, and we want to share the joy our animals bring to us, with the children in our care. Please know that safety comes first when children are interacting with the animals. Some of the wool products children are able to make are yarn, pompoms, macramé, chunky blankets, hats, gloves, felted soaps, etc... Children will also learn how to make butter, cheese, and soap from goats' milk. As we work on projects in this program, you will get notified through our communication app of what the children are creating. You will get to shop our store and see your child's creations there. proceeds from sales of items produced by your children will go towards supporting local charities selected by your little ones.
Steps to Quality Program
We are currently participating in the Steps to Quality Program, also known as Quality Rating and Improvement System. In this program we move though various steps of quality, each with specific goals. We are currently working towards Step 2, which is about improving learning environments. In this step we have already completed the Environmental Rating Scale (ERS) that measures how our environments impact children, both positively and negatively. Once we know how we score in each area, we work towards the goals and objectives that will best enhance children's learning and development.
